HomeSafe® is our network-level security which protects every device using your TalkTalk broadband. It's easy to use and free for TalkTalk customers. We ask all new customers whether they want to activate the service, and we regularly ask existing customers the same question.
You can change your HomeSafe® settings in My Account. Simply select Extras & offers from the menu at the top, then click on Manage HomeSafe. You'll see the screen below.
You can choose from the below 3 options to switch on by clicking the ON switch which will be highlighted blue. If you're switching on Kids Safe or Homework Time, make sure you confirm this setting by clicking the blue save changes button. It will take a few minutes for your changes to take effect.
We recommend keeping HomeSafe® switched on, but if you do decide to switch it off just click the OFF button next to any of the three options below which will turn it grey. For Kids Safe, you'll see a prompt asking if you're sure you want to switch it off. Simply click the pink button to confirm, and allow a few minutes for your changes to take effect.
