The following steps will help you setup your talktalk.net email address on your Windows Phone. If you’re not sure what your email or password is you can find them in My Account.
If you've already set up your email account but it's not working, try deleting the account then adding it again. Simply tap Settings, then Email + accounts. Tap and hold your email account, then tap delete and delete again. Once you've removed it, follow the steps below:
From the Start screen, swipe in from the right to your App list and tap Settings.
Select Email + accounts
Tap Add an account
Tap Other account
On this page you need to complete the following Sections:
Tap Sign In.
Enter your email address as your name, then make sure your incoming mail server is set to mail.talktalk.net:143:0
Scroll down and check your outgoing (SMTP) mail server is set to smtp.talktalk.net:587
Tap the boxes to select the following (you may need to tap the advanced settings button to see these options).
Tap the tick icon to confirm.
Your account is now set up, and will be shown on your email + account screen.
To view your inbox, simply tap the mail icon on your home screen.
