This page tells you how to set up the built-in Mail app on an Apple iPad or to work with your TalkTalk email service. Before starting, make sure you know the exact spelling of your email address. If you're unsure, you can check your email address details by signing in to My Account.
These instructions are valid for devices running IOS version 6. You can use the same settings for older versions, but some of the screens and steps may differ. We recommended upgrading your mobile device to iOS 6 (or later) to get the most from your TalkTalk email service.
Follow the steps below to set up Mail to work with your TalkTalk email service.
Tap the Settings icon on the Home screen.
You will now return to the Mail, Contacts, Calendars screen.
Your email account is now set up, and can be accessed by tapping the Mail icon on the Home screen.
To test your account, send an email to your TalkTalk address and check if Mail receives it.
Mail will automatically check for new messages at regular intervals. You can make it immediately check for new messages by swiping down and releasing the left screen panel.
