On demand programmes keep buffering

When you watch an On demand or catch up programme, your YouView box downloads some of the programme in advance so that it plays smoothly. This can sometimes cause a delay which is known as "buffering". You'll see a spinning icon in the centre of the screen when a channel is buffering.

We've optimised your line to bring you the best and most consistent TV and broadband performance. It is normal to experience some buffering at the start of a programme, but if it happens midway through then try the simple steps below. It's a good idea to check whether the problem is resolved after each step.
