TalkTalk Help

What is Enhanced Remote Management?

To help us provide you with the best broadband service possible, we have introduced a new technology that lets us update and maintain your broadband equipment remotely for you. This way we can make sure your router is always up to date with the latest software, making problems much easier to find if they occur.

This is called Enhanced Remote Management and provides the following benefits:

  • Automatic updates to your router software to get the best speed and efficiency
  • Find and fix problems before they affect your broadband service
  • Avoid you having to spend time on the phone or online looking for technical help
  • Avoid having to to call out an engineer to help fix any problems
  • And the good news its free!

We strongly recommend you don't change the Enhanced Remote Management settings your router came with to ensure you get the most out of your router and TalkTalk service.

Select your router and then open the instructions.
