If you don’t connect your YouView Box to your broadband connection you won’t be able to enjoy everything that YouView from TalkTalk has to offer.
Your YouView Box needs a broadband connection to receive On demand content and Catch Up TV through applications like BBC iPlayer and 4oD. If you don’t connect your YouView Box to broadband you’ll only be able view the Freeview Channels transmitted through your aerial. You can connect your YouView Box to broadband simply by plugging it into your router.

Connecting to your Box to your router will also let you rent and enjoy the latest film releases from TalkTalk Box Office without having to leave the comfort of your living room. You can rent any film on the list for 48hrs at a time that suits you.
Once your box is connected you might also be able to access live, paid-for TV channels like Sky Sports and Sky Movies using our TV Boosts. Our Boost packages offer something for everyone, whether you’re are film buff, sports fan or music lover – and there’s something for the kids too.
