How do I order TalkTalk Mobile?

First we brought you great value phone, TV and broadband and now you can enjoy exclusive TalkTalk prices on a mobile phone.

We’ve partnered with our friends at Carphone Warehouse to bring you the latest smartphones from just £5 a month and our plans include the handset free on a 24 month contract.


Placing an order

Online: Simply visit our mobile website where we've introduced a different and easier way to buy mobiles and smartphones. These are only available and exclusive to existing TalkTalk customers. Please have your My Account details to hand as you'll need them when placing an order.

Over the phone: Please call us on 0800 458 5331 to place an order and discuss your options.

Please note, order online and you'll get exclusive online offers. We'll also double the data allowance on your plan!

We have 4 sensible plans for our Mobile phone and SIM only packages so you can easily pick the right one for you – all come with a generous allowance of minutes, texts and data.

TalkTalk Mobile is reserved just for you, our customers, which means we can strip out many unnecessary costs and pass the savings back to you. All our plans have a range of savings features built in and no up front costs or hidden charges.

Can I keep my old number?

We know that when you change networks one of the most important things is to keep hold of your old number. We’ve made keeping your number as simple as possible.

You'll need to get a Port Authorisation Code (PAC) from your current mobile network and supply this to us once you've activated your TalkTalk mobile service. You'll find everything you need to know about keeping your number in Port my number - To TalkTalk Mobile.



What is the network coverage with TalkTalk?

We have award-winning 99% UK network coverage provided by our partner Vodafone. Enjoy faster internet and fewer dropped calls. Check out our coverage.



How many mobile and SIM packages can I get?

If you wanted to take advantage of the great savings for other family members, it's possible to purchase more than one handset or SIM. The number of services depends on how long you've been a TalkTalk customer. Please see our Allowance guide for more information.

How much data do I need?

We have 4 plans so you can choose the one that best suits how you use your phone. Remember, we’ll double your data allowance every month when you order TalkTalk Mobile online. Please see All about Mobile Data for more information.



How and when will I receive my TalkTalk Mobile or SIM?

We’re committed to delivering your phone package or SIM as fast as possible. Please see Where is my mobile or SIM order? for full details. 



What does double data online mean?

If you want to use your new phone to connect to the internet, make sure you order TalkTalk Mobile or SIM online. We’ll automatically double your data allowance for the full length of your contract so you can surf the web longer, send more emails and download more photos and music.

Simply by ordering online you can increase your monthly data allowance:

- on Small from 100MB to 200MB
- on Medium from 500MB to 1GB

- on Large from 2GB to 4GB



Can I change my plan once I've agreed it?

Yes, you can change your plan at any point in your contract. For more information please see Changing your Mobile plan.



What warranty comes with the mobile?

Our warranty period covers the length of your contract.
