Setting up internet browsing and picture messaging

Shortly after inserting your SIM you'll receive a text message (SMS) from us advising that your new settings are on the way, followed by another message containing the link to download them. The exception to this is a Windows 8.0, Windows 8.1 and HTC on KitKat where the settings will need to be manually entered. 


If you don't receive a text message within a couple of minutes for any other manufacturer, please text the word "TALK" to 40127 and we'll resend them to you.

Important notice

We've identified a number of our customers that have incorrect settings preventing the use of things like the Internet and multi-media messaging. 

If you've been identified as a customer with incorrect settings we'll send you a text messages after the 27 October 2014 to help you get setup correctly. We just wanted to let you know this is a genuine support message from us at TalkTalk Mobile.
