To see if your handset is locked, just insert your new SIM into your mobile - if it doesn't work straight away, your handset has been locked.
TalkTalk advise you to contact your current network provider and ask for your handset to be unlocked. Unfortunately, we are unable to help directly in the unlocking process and some operators may charge a small fee. A list of the main operators can be found in the table below:
